FBML Page Fails to Load

Nov 1, 2007 at 1:27 PM

Due to the SendRequest deprecation, I tried to make a simple FBML canvas page.
I tried Default2.aspx (from the samples), but it doesn't work.
It says: "Using themed css files requires a header control on the page. (e.g. <head runat="server" />)."

So I added the <head runat="server" /> tag, but then facebook refuses to parse the page for me (nothing shows and view source contains a ref to asp.net sample).
I tried adding EnableTheming="false" to the page declaration but it doesn't help either (with or without the head tag).

Anyone encountered this problem or has a general idea why this happens?

Appreciate your help,

Are you trying to use a theme? There isn't one on the FBML sample, so I'm guessing maybe you added one. If so, the problem is probably that whatever the theme does to render its components isn't legal FBML, since FBML only supports a subset of HTML.

Thanks for trying to help.
I have a theme in my Web project and you're probably right, I too think that it creates illegal FBML.
The problem is that I don't know how to disable it for a single page. EnableThieming="false" did not help.
Anybody has a clue? I'm stuck.
