Get Users Photo Albums?

Hi  guys, I'm writing a WPF Desktop app, and it seems nothing I do can actually get a users photo albums.

I've logged in and can successfully get the users details, and I've added permissions to access users photos. However trying this code

Dim photoAlbum = ServiceProvider.FacebookService.GetAlbums(user.uid.Value)
        Debug.Print("Number of albums: " + photoAlbum.Count.ToString)

prints out a results of "Number of albums: 0"

Trying the following code however lists 17 albums (the correct amount), however its pretty useless for my purposes as it only provides general metadata of the album, not the actual album along with its photos

Dim pa = api.Photos.GetAlbums(user.uid.Value)
        Debug.Print("Number of albums: " + pa.Count.ToString)

It seems that the samples included in the toolkit can't get the users photos either... is there any work around for this or anything I'm missing?? I pretty much need to get the photos for my project =/

Thanks Guys

The same problem was solved a minute ago.

You open Facebook.csproj, and correct Enums.cs.

Unfortunately that does not solve my problems, as I'm using the latest source code which does already include those definitions... though what code are you using to access the photo albums when you need them?

You guys could try out The code is pretty simple to accomplish what you are trying to do, and it works. :)

FacebookApp app = new FacebookApp("access_token_here");
dynamic result = app.Api("userId/albums");
int count =;
