Well the June 30th deadline caught me off guard... damn.. i am using the old toolkit (1.7) still since it served me well thus far and I wonder - is is possible to edit the old rest authetication process so that it works with the new permissions? Answer is yes, here is what I did as a FYI In BasePageHelper.cs, fine RedirectToLogin() and modify it to look like this: private void RedirectToLogin() { RedirectTopFrame(_response, FACEBOOK_LOGIN_URL + _fbService.ApplicationKey + FACEBOOK_CANVAS_PARAM + "&next=<your url goes here>&req_perms=<list of permissions>"); } <your url goes here> should be a valid url that the player is sent to after authorizing <list of permissions> comma deliminated list of permissions (see http://developers.facebook.com/docs/authentication/permissions)

Hi Greg,

this june 30th deadline does it have anything to do with the URL I was using to allow my users to allow my application?

http://www.facebook.com/authorize.php?api_key=[ myapi ]&v=1.0&ext_perm=publish_stream
