Hi! I have a big problem to get user information.

When i try this:

Public Sub New() RequireLogin = True
Dim permissionList As New List(Of Facebook.Schema.Enums.ExtendedPermissions)
permissionList.Add(Facebook.Schema.Enums.ExtendedPermissions.publish_stream)
permissionList.Add(Facebook.Schema.Enums.ExtendedPermissions.email)
MyBase.RequiredPermissions = permissionList End Sub

I get this:
API Error Code: 100 API Error
Description: Invalid parameter Error Message: When enabling the profile selector, an app may not request permissions that do not apply to all profiles in the selector. Note: You are seeing this message because you are a developer of this application. For regular users, inapplicable permissions are silently ignored.

WHY?

 It's works when i not have permissionList.Add(Facebook.Schema.Enums.ExtendedPermissions.email) in permissionList.

Whats the problem?

And problem 2, how can i get the user birthday?

Thanx for help...

I was able to get birthdate via

login.Api.Users.GetInfo().birthday_date

I'm also facing the same error, while trying out 'Enums.ExtendedPermissions.email', any solutions?

 Hi

Thanks for the reply.. Can u please post code of javascript api.

If u remove  enable_profile_selector and the profile_selector_ids parameters from the below url. check the bold letters

http://www.facebook.com/connect/uiserver.php?app_id=141522162550772&next=http%3A%2F%2Fapps.facebook.com%2Fsample%2Fsample.aspx%3Ffb_sig_in_iframe%3D1&display=popup&locale=en_US&perms=email&enable_profile_selector=1&profile_selector_ids=myid&legacy_return=1&method=permissions.request then then it is woking.

Thanks.

 Hi,

I have used the below code in my app to get extended permissions. The below code is working in FBML mode not in IFRAME mode. Please help me regarding this.

Facebook.showPermissionDialog('publish_stream, read_stream', ondone, showProfileSelector, '');

Thanks..
