Should users.getInfo(List<long>) take IList<long> instead?

I know that it's not the best way to do it, but my first Hello-World style attempt to get the user's friends' info was "facebookApi.users.getInfo(facebookApi.friends.get());" This fails to compile because friends.get() returns an IList, which is a good design, but users.getInfo() take a List, which is less than ideal. So I took the friends.get(), created a List<long>, copied the IList<long> into the List<long>, and called users.getInfo().

Of course, now I just use facebookApi.friends.getUserObjects().
