Hi all, I'm looking to update some <fb:ref > http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Fb:ref tags on a daily basis. PHP examples all seem to be utilising cron, as per the example below.

http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Infinite_session_howto

http://www.yourserver.com/cronjob.php
<? php
// Include the facebook library config files.
require_once 'facebook.php';

// Set the API key and Secret.
$apikey = YOURAPIKEYHERE;
$secret = YOURSECRETHERE;
$facebook = new Facebook($api_key, $secret);

$user = YOURFACEBOOKUSER_ID;
$key = SESSIONKEYWEPROCUREDABOVE;

// Allows "you" to run your script
$facebook->set_user($user, $key);

// Now you can update FBML pages, update your fb:ref tags, etc.
$facebook->apiclient->fbmlrefreshRefUrl(...);
?>

I have an infinate session key, and all the required info, but there doesnt seem to be a set_user($user, $key) method in the developer toolkit. Am I missing something or going about this the wrong way?

any examples of automated <fb:ref> tags would be greatly appreciated!

(also, is the linked example woefully outdated?)

EDIT: not to worry, managed to figure it out myself :)
