how to detect if our app's content is installed in the user's profile

Hi All!

In my app I need to detect somehow that the content from our app is installed in the user's profile.

But there is now api function which does this .

Is there any solution to find out if the app's content is installed in to the profile/or if the profile narrow box is created.

Thank you in advance.

In your facebook app setting on the developer site you can specify a callback url for profile info updates.

"Facebook pings this URL when a user changes data in your application's info section on their profile." - http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/New_Design_Application_Info_Sections

Does that work for you? I don't think there is an API for the specific action of someone clicking the add to profile button.

Why exactly do you want to detect that?

kmarshall, thank you for your support first,

I think it is a very common task to check if the profie box is created...in this case we will hide or show some functional from our application front end - if there is no profile box created - why we will show buttons for saving information to the user's profile...it will be only confusing....

and there is now  clear  solution for this issue...strange..
